KompoZer

KompoZer is an HTML editing program.  The last time it was updated was in 2007.  Despite being old, it is my go-to.  When you create a new webpage, select XHTML.  That is the closest to HTML 5.  



The software is contained within a zip file.  You extract it, then use the "start" batch file to boot it up.
